The Ragin' Cajuns outdoor track and field team will host its first meet of the season on Saturday as 10 teams will head to Lafayette to compete in the Louisiana Classics Meet.

Competing teams include McNeese State, Tulane, Northwestern State, Nicholls State, UL-Monroe, South Alabama, LSU, Southeastern Louisiana, Xavier-Louisiana and host team Louisiana.

Field events will kick off with the hammer throw at 10 a.m. on Saturday with the final running event starting around 6 p.m. Results will be posted to RaginCajuns.com following the end of the meet.
