2007 Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt

2008 (Sophomore): Started first five games before sustaining season-ending knee injury… Was the second-leading tackler at the time of injury, but still finished eighth…Posted an interception at Illinois…Had a season-high 11 tackles at Kansas State.

2007 (Freshman): Became the first freshman on defense to ever earn a spot on an all-conference team…Was 14th in Sun Belt play in tackles per game (6.3) and 18th overall (5.8)… Only freshman ranked in the Sun Belt’s top 35 in overall tackles…Saw time in all 12 games at linebacker and on special teams…Second on defense with 786 snaps…Earned first career start in the Cajuns fourth game of the season vs. Troy and started the rest of the season….
Recipient of the Top Gun Award at the postseason banquet (top defensive newcomer)… Also took home the Grid Iron Alumni Award and special teams MVP as voted on by the players…Second on the team in total tackles during the regular season and in conference play…Registered a season-high nine total tackles in each of the last two games…Collected first career interception vs. McNeese, adding a 26-yard return…Forced a fumble vs. Troy…Recovered a fumble vs. NT.

St. Thomas More: Was a preseason All-American candidate in 2006…Posted 35 solo and 55
assisted tackles during senior season…Named All-District 5-4A for the third straight season
and was an All-State selection in Class 4A ranks in 2006…Finished career with 263 total
tackles (95 solo), 16 pass breakups and 14 interceptions...Was on the J.W. Drillers baseball
team that won the USSSA World Series at the age of 10.
