2009 (Sophomore): Appeared in eight games as the Cajuns back-up quarterback and on special teams...Missed a three-game stretch due to a foot injury, but returned for the final two games...Recorded a run in all eight games and attempted passes at LSU, at Nebraska and vs. Troy...Led the team with seven rushing touchdowns, while placing third in rushing yards...Had a season-best 11 carries for 59 yards at WKU...Garnered a first down on seven of the 11 carries at WKU, including five on third down...Totaled 33 yards on seven carries, including three touchdowns vs. FAU...Scored on a six-yard run and threw two TD passes to Ladarius Green in the season finale vs. Troy...Finished the game 5-of-8 for 109 yards to boast a passing efficiency of 259.45...Completed the third longest pass in school history and fourth longest in SBC history - a 91-yard touchdown to Green - vs. Troy.
2008 (Redshirt Freshman): Served as the primary backup quarterback for all 12 games, seeing time under center in eight contests... Earned first career start vs. ASU, replacing injured starter Michael Desormeaux...Was sacked five times and threw two interceptions, but still had the composure to lead the Cajuns back from a 23-14 deficit with 7:39 remaining to defeat the Red Wolves 28-23...Made first career appearance at USM, completing first pass attempt for 12 yards and then hitting Pierre Hill with a 21-yard strike for a touchdown on his next attempt...Was 7-for-8 for 48 yards and a score at FAU...Posted the highest efficiency rating (140.6) of any quarterback in the Sun Belt...Had 27 rushing attempts vs. ASU, the second most in the SBC in 2008 and just two shy of the school record by a quarterback... 2007 (Freshman): Redshirted, did not play...Named Cajuns Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week vs. Florida International.
Gulf Breeze: Athletic quarterback with great pocket presence and a solid arm for the short to intermediate routes, and very accurate...Was one of 400 high school juniors, and one of only 60 quarterbacks to compete in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Scouting Combine in San Antonio...Completed 67 percent of his passes as a senior...Passed for 6,705 yards and 62 touchdowns in four years...Played quarterback and free safety for Gulf Breeze High...Was a Second Team All-State quarterback and member of the First Team All-District as a senior in 2006.
