2007-08 Sun Belt Honor Roll

2009 (Junior):  Was the Cajuns punter in all 12 games...Handled the free-kick (61 yards) following a safety against the Cajuns by Kansas State...Named special teams MVP as voted on by his teammates...Helped UL lead the Sun Belt in net punting thanks to a 40.6 punting average and just a 1.9-yard per return average...Was tops in the SBC, allowing only 21 punt return yards during conference play - an average of just 0.5 yards per return...Placed third in the conference with 13 punts of 50+ yards...Had 15 punts inside opponent 20-yard line and 15 fair catches, impressive considering Cajuns started 27 drives at or inside own 15-yard line...Booted two punts for 108 yards (54.0 avg.) with a long of 55 yards vs. Southern...Had a season-high eight punts at Nebraska with three punts of 50+ yards...Nailed seven punts for 331 yards at FIU (47.3 avg.) with four punts of 50+ yards, including a season-long 60-yard punt...Named the Cajuns Special Forces Player of the Week four times.

2008 (Sophomore): Was the punter in all 12 games...Helped UL finish second in the Sun Belt in net punting...More than half of his punts (28 of 48) were not returned, including 12 placed inside the 20-yard line...The longest punt return allowed during the season was just 16 yards...Had a season-high seven punts for 304 yards, including three punts over 50 yards, at Troy...Totaled nine punts over 50 yards, with six occurring in the final three games, including a career-long 63-yard boot in the season finale vs. MT...Only had five touchbacks in 48 punts.

2007 (Freshman): Earned a scholarship following the season...Was the Cajuns starting punter for all 12 games...Ranked seventh in punting average (40.5) during conference play...Landed 12 of his 56 punts inside the opponent's 20-yard line...Only credited with three touchbacks...Boasted four punts of 50+ yards...Top game came at ASU, punting eight times for 384 yards (48.0avg), including three punts of 50+ yards, including season-long of 59 yards, and three punts inside the 20-yard line...Named Cajuns Special Forces Player of the Week vs. NT and FIU.
