2007 (Freshman): Redshirted, did not play...Named Cajuns Offensive Scout Team Player of the Week vs. UCF and Tennessee.

South Grand Prairie: First Team All-District selection in District 7-5A and helped lead his team to a 10-2 record as a senior...Rushed for 867 yards and averaged 8.18 yards per carry in senior season; scored seven touchdowns...During his senior season, had three games with over 140 yards rushing...Also ran track - 100m, 4x100m relay and long jump, winning the district championship in the 4x100m relay.
