2008 (Freshman): Sat out the first two games of the season in anticipation of a redshirt… Competed at linebacker over the next seven games after a rash of serious injuries to several linebackers…Missed the final three games (shoulder injury)…Had eight tackles in seven games, including seven solo stops…Posted five tackles and a sack at North Texas.

Destrehan: Helped Destrehan to the Class 5A state championship registering 11 tackles and three sacks in the finals…Had 11 tackles-for-loss, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and two pass break ups as a senior…Recorded 67 tackles, including 14 tackles-for-loss, eight sacks and three interceptions as a junior.
