2009 (Freshman): Redshirted, did not play...Named Cajuns Defensive Scout Team Player of the Week during week three vs. Louisiana State.

High School: Played in the U.S. Army Redstick All-Star Game... Was a two-time 6-3A All-District athlete and honorable mention All-State as a senior... Posted 136 tackles, 10 tackles-for-loss, six sacks and four fumbles recoveries as a senior... Posted 108 tackles, 11 tackles-for-loss, 5.5 sacks, one fumble recovery, one interception and two blocked kicks as a junior en route to being named defensive MVP of his team... Helped lead Redemptorist Wolves to the Class 3A semifinals for two straight years... Awarded four letters in football and track and one in basketball and wrestling.
