Was a very good run-blocking tight end as a junior, producing a 1,000-yard first-team all-state running back... Made 19 receptions for 306 yards and five touchdowns during junior season... Had 27 career receptions for 640 yards and 12 touchdowns... Averaged 35.2 yards per catch during senior season and was also a punter... Multi-sport athlete earned four letters in football and basketball and three letters in track... Posted 1,286 points, 812 rebounds and 129 blocks in his prep basketball career... Was a three-time All-District selection in football (twice in 2008 - WR & P) and a three-time all-district selection in basketball.
