Zimmerman, a standout performer in indoor volleyball at Wichita State (2012-15) and beach volleyball at South Carolina (2016-17), gained coaching experience working with youth volleyball teams throughout her collegiate career.

“I’ve known Coach Heather for a while and I’m glad I get to coach along side her now,” Zimmerman stated. “I’m so excited to be a Ragin’ Cajun and can’t wait to get in the gym with the team.”

In addition to coaching in team camps at WSU and USC, Zimmerman’s professional experience includes being a sports camp counselor and athletic director for Kids Across America Summer Camps in Branson, Mo.

In her time as a collegiate student-athlete, the Houston area native posted 49 wins on the beach volleyball court at South Carolina, the fifth-most wins in program history, and played 127 matches over four seasons at Wichita State compiling 911 career kills, 533 digs, 242 blocks and 94 aces.
