Women's Basketball Volunteers at Celebrate Life Event

LAFAYETTE, La. - The women's basketball team volunteered at the Women's & Children Hospital's Celebrate Life Event in River Ranch on Saturday, Sept. 29.
September is National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and Dr. Ammar Morad, Pediatric Oncologist/Hematologist with the Kids Specialty Center, and Women's & Children's Hospital hosted Celebrate Life for all of his patients.
The Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team did face painting for the patients as well as put on dribbling and basketball skill exhibitions. In addition, the team set up mini basketball goals for the patients to shoot and play games.
