Softball Continues Fall Action Hosting Chipola Sunday

LAFAYETTE, La. – With just two fall games remaining on the schedule, the Ragin' Cajuns softball team will take the field this Sunday, Nov. 4 hosting Chipola at Lamson Park with the first pitch set for 1 p.m.
All fans are encouraged to wear pink again in an effort to raise awareness for breast cancer. Special Ragin' Cajuns Breast Cancer t-shirts will be available for purchase. In addition, the team will also raffle off autographed gear.
The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation was established in 1982 by Nancy Brinker to honor the memory of her sister, Susan G. Komen, who died from breast cancer at the age of 36.
Today, the Foundation is an international organization with a network of more than 75,000 volunteers working through local affiliates and events like the Komen Race for the Cure® to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Together with its Affiliate Network, corporate partners and generous donors, the Komen Foundation has raised more than $740 million for the fight against breast cancer.
After Sunday's contest, the Cajuns will play their final game of the fall season at Lamson Park on Saturday, Nov. 10 hosting Galveston College at 1 p.m.
