Saturday Games Rained Out, Cajuns Finish 3-0 in Judi Garman

LAFAYETTE, La. -- The Ragin' Cajuns softball games against Iowa and No. 13 Arizona have been cancelled due to the amount of rain in the Fullerton, Calif. area.

As a result, UL (26-0, 3-0) will finish its trip out west in the Judi Garman Classic with a 3-0 record. Their wins include a 9-2 victory over No. 5 ranked defending national champion Arizona State, 5-1 against Penn State and 9-1 over Fresno State.

The No. 10 ranked Cajuns went undefeated in the Classic for the first time since 1994, which stands as the lone year Louisiana has won the tournament.

UL will return home to Lamson Park on Thursday against non-conference foe Georgia Tech in a doubleheader starting at 5:00 p.m. Game one will be broadcasted by local KLAF television.
