Volleyball Set to Participate in LSU Spring Tournament

BATON ROUGE – The Ragin' Cajuns volleyball team continues its spring season on Saturday, March 24 taking part in the 2012 LSU Spring Tournament at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center on the LSU campus.

Tournament action is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and last until 5 p.m.

In addition to the Ragin' Cajuns, other participating schools include LSU, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern Miss, Southern University and Northwestern State.

"We are looking to improve on some of the things we struggled with last weekend and also to improve the things we did well," head coach Heather Mazeitis said. "Our consistency in our passing game is very important and has become one of our main points of focus this spring and it is paying off."

All matches will consist of two sets played to 25 points. Matches will be played on the PMAC main floor and the auxiliary gym of the facility located downstairs through the Northwest Portal.

Below is the list of matches the Ragin' Cajuns are set to participate in:

10 a.m. – Louisiana vs. Southern University (Auxiliary Gym)
1 p.m. – Louisiana vs. Northwestern State (Auxiliary Gym)
2 p.m. – Louisiana vs. Southeastern Louisiana (PMAC)
4 p.m. – Louisiana vs. Southern Miss (Auxiliary Gym)

Directions:
Coming from East or West on Interstate 10:
Take I-10 to Dalrymple Drive exit (Exit 156C). Take a right onto Dalrymple Drive and proceed 0.9 miles past the gates of campus until reaching Highland Road. Continue on Dalrymple Drive until reaching Cypress Drive. Veer left with the Indian mounds on your left. At the traffic circle, turn right onto North Stadium Dr. Lot I will be on your right just before the PMAC.
