Cajuns Remain Top 10 in Both Polls for Fifth Consecutive Week

LAFAYETTE, La. – For the fifth consecutive week, the Ragin' Cajuns softball team remained in the top 10 of both national polls, which were released Tuesday.
UL (38-2, 13-2) flip flopped spots in the rankings, jumping one spot to No. 7 in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Top 25 Poll and are locked in at No. 8 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll.
In the fourth releasing of the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI), the Cajuns have found themselves in the top 10 every week, coming in at No. 9 after a 5-1 week long road trip at FIU and Middle Tennessee.

The Ragin' Cajuns return to action this weekend as they play host to FAU in a three game series. The two squads will play a doubleheader on Saturday, April 21, that will air on the Sun Belt Network (Comcast Sports Southeast and Cox Sports TV). Game one will air live at 11:05 a.m. with game two airing on delay. The game will also be available on ESPN3.com outside of the Sun Belt Network footprint.
The series finale is scheduled for Sunday, April 22, at 1:05 p.m. and will be broadcasted by local television KLAF.
