Softball Welcome Back Gathering Set For 7 p.m.

LAFAYETTE, La. - Fresh off their appearance in the 2012 Tempe Super Regional, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns softball team will return to Lafayette on Saturday (May 26) and their fans are invited to greet them when they arrive.

Gates at Lamson Park will open at 6:30 p.m. with the team arriving at approximately 7:00 p.m.

The Ragin' Cajuns concluded the 2012 season on Friday night with a 53-6 record and made their 22nd appearance in the NCAA Softball Championships, falling one win shy of earning a Women's College World Series berth for the sixth time in program history.
