LAFAYETTE – The coaching staffs from the University of Louisiana and Jackson State announced Wednesday a makeup date for the Aug. 28 match that was postponed by Hurricane Isaac.

The Ragin' Cajuns and Tigers will meet at T.B. Ellis Gym in Jackson, Miss., on Tuesday, Oct. 30. First serve is set for 7 p.m.

The originally scheduled match was postponed for safety precautions for the Cajuns who would have been returning from Jackson near the time that Hurricane Isaac made landfall on the southeastern Louisiana coast.

UL and JSU are set to meet for the 13th time with the Cajuns holding an all-time series advantage of 9-3. Louisiana won the last meeting 3-0 (25-16, 25-12, 25-23) in the 2010 Bon Temps Invitational at Earl K. Long Gym and has won the last seven meetings with the Tigers.

It's the first trip to Jackson – and only the second ever – for the Cajuns since Oct. 30, 1981.

The Cajuns, coming off a 3-0 win against Southern by forfeiture on Tuesday, travel to Memphis, Tenn., for the Tiger Invitational being held Friday-Saturday, Sept. 14-15 on the University of Memphis campus. UL will meet Alabama A&M (Sept. 14), Belmont (Sept. 14), Illinois-Chicago (Sept. 15) and host-Memphis (Sept. 15) during the event.
