Ragin’ Cajuns Baseball: In the Pros Update

LAFAYETTE, La. – Currently there are seven Ragin' Cajuns baseball players in the professional ranks highlighted by major leaguers Jonathan Lucroy of the Milwaukee Brewers and Danny Farquhar of the Seattle Mariners.
Farquhar had an impressive August with the Mariners posting 13 saves in 16 appearances with a 2.03 ERA. He has struck out 21 in 15.1 innings of work during that stretch.
Lucroy also had a strong August hitting .313 with 16 RBI coming on three doubles, a triple and two home runs. On the year, Lucroy is batting .286 with a career-best 17 home runs and 76 RBI.

Chase Lambin (Omaha Storm Chasers, Kansas City AAA) - .246 BA, 4 doubles, 10 runs
TJ Geith (Corpus Christi Hooks, Houston AA) - 6-0 record, 4.45 ERA, 1 save, 49 strikeouts
Chad Beck (New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Toronto AA) – 3-1 record, 4.06 ERA, 7 saves
Dayton Marze (New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Toronto AA) – 2-1 record, 4.69 ERA, 26 strikeouts
Jordan Harrison (Bowling Green Hot Rods, Tampa Bay A) – 9-4 record, 2.92 ERA, 83 strikeouts
