FOR STARTERS
The Ragin' Cajuns jumped right back into the thick of the SBC race last week with a pair of wins, including a dramatic 3-2 comeback win over previously unbeaten Appalachian State on Friday. This week the Cajuns can make even more noise, hosting Georgia State on Thursday before trekking to San Marcos on Saturday for a date with current league leader Texas State.

QUICK HITS
- Senior setter Andrea Hole was named the Sun Belt Conference Setter of the Week on Monday after helping lead the Cajuns to a pair of wins. It is the first weekly honor of the season for the Ragin' Cajuns, and the second for Hole who was also named Setter of the Week in November of 2013. She averaged 11.6 assists per set for the week, and currently ranks third in the SBC with 10.3 assists per set for the season.
- UL came back from down 20-12 in the second set of Saturday's win over Georgia Southern. It is the biggest deficit successfully overcome by the Ragin' Cajuns in a match this year.Â
- Freshman Stacey Reilly is making an impact in her first year at UL, starting every match and averaging 2.13 kills and 2.57 digs per set. She is one of just two freshmen in the Sun Belt Conference this season averaging at least 2.00 kills and digs per set this season.Â
- Senior Caitlyn Auxilien's 3.66 digs per set ranks in the top 10 in the Sun Belt Conference this year. She needs just four more digs to move into fourth place all-time at UL in career digs. She needs just 16 more to become only the fourth player in program history with 1,500 career digs.Â
- Hole has picked up 11 double-doubles on the season, a mark that is tops in the conference. Reilly has picked up four double-doubles on the year for UL, and Sara Mossakowski has three.Â
- Mossakowski had 14 kills in UL's 3-0 win over Georgia Southern on Saturday, tying the most in a three-set match for the Cajuns this season. She also had 14 kills in a sweep of Sam Houston State on Sept. 10.
- Head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot picked up her 95th win at Louisiana on Saturday, leaving her five victories shy of 100 as a Ragin' Cajun. Only two other UL head coaches have more wins - Wilo Colon (132) and Sherry LeBas (111).
- Hole and Chanelle Gardner put together outstanding pre-conference resumes. Hole was named MVP of each of UL's three pre-conference tournaments, while Gardner was an all-tournament selection each time.Â
- The Ragin' Cajuns 10-0 start to the season is the second best in program history. Only UL's 13-0 start in 1990 was longer.
