LAFAYETTE, La. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team will look to move up the Sun Belt Conference standings on the road this weekend when they travel to Appalachian State and Texas State. The Cajuns take on the Mountaineers on Friday at 7 p.m. (ET) before heading west to take on the Bobcats on Sunday at 1 p.m.

The Cajuns, currently sixth in the SBC with seven points, are in striking distance of its two foes this weekend. Appalachian State is in fifth place with nine points, while Texas State is tied for second in the league with 12 points.

Louisiana is coming off a 2-0 weekend with wins over UALR and Arkansas State at home. Senior midfielder Tina Sanchez netted two of the Cajuns' six goals on the weekend including the game winner in a 2-1 victory over UALR. On Sunday, Louisiana took down the Red Wolves, 4-2, for its second four-goal performance in its last three matches.
