FOR STARTERS
The Ragin' Cajuns won their third match in a row on Friday at home against UT Arlington and will look to keep the late-season momentum going when they wrap up the regular season this weekend at Arkansas State and at home against ULM.
UL dropped a close five-set match to the Red Wolves on Nov. 2, but can avenge that loss on Friday at Arkansas State, a team tied for second in the SBC entering the final weekend of the regular season. The Cajuns swept A-State last season in Jonesboro, snapping a nine-match losing streak on the Red Wolves' home court that dated back to 2002.
The Cajuns will then honor its four-member senior class of Caitlyn Auxilien, Andrea Hole, Kaylee Nemeth and Kelly Wiesmann on Sunday at home against ULM. Louisiana has won each of its last five meetings with the Warhawks, all via sweep, including a 3-0 win in Monroe on Oct. 8. The Warhawks have dropped 14 of the last 16 in the series and have only won once against the Cajuns in Lafayette since 1985, that coming in 2011.
The first 200 students to enter Earl K. Long Gym for Sunday's match vs ULM will receive a free t-shirt, courtesy of University Program Council. Students must have a valid student ID to receive the shirt.

NEXT WEEK
Should the Ragin' Cajuns clinch a berth in the SBC Tournament, they will open up the event on Thanksgiving Day in San Marcos with time and opponent to be determined after the conclusion of league play on Sunday. Â
QUICK HITS
- The Ragin' Cajuns have their magic number down to one to clinch a spot in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Tournament. A win by the Cajuns over either Arkansas State or ULM would guarantee a tournament berth. If the tournament started today, the Ragin' Cajuns would be the No. 6 seed, while they could potentially move as high as the No. 5 seed.
- Friday's win over UT Arlington was the first ever over the Mavericks for the Ragin' Cajuns, having dropped all 11 of the previous meetings, including a 3-1 loss in Arlington on September 21.
- Head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot eclipsed the 100-win plateau at Louisiana with a win at South Alabama on Nov. 7. The win made her the third head coach in program history to reach 100 wins as a Ragin' Cajun. The only two other UL head coaches to do so are Wilo Colon (132) and Sherry LeBas (111).
- The win over UTA brought the Ragin' Cajuns to 19 wins on the season, equaling its mark from a year ago. One more victory would give UL its first 20-win season since 1990.Â
- UL's win at South Alabama was the eighth time UL has been stretched to five sets this season, going 5-3 in those matches. It is the most five-set matches in a season for the Ragin' Cajuns since the 2002 had eight five-setters, and the the most five-set wins since the 2001 team picked up five wins in the full five sets.Â
- Senior Caitlyn Auxilien's recently moved past Erika Castro for third all-time at UL in career digs and now has 1,735 for her career. She trails Lindsay Brown by 128 for second place.Â
- Andrea Hole ranks fifth in the SBC with 10.22 assists per set. She surpassed the 2,000-assist mark for her career at Texas State and her 2,565 assists currently ranks third all-time at UL in the rally era at Louisiana. She needs just six assists this year to move into the single-season top five in assists at UL.
