Women's Tennis Announces Fall Schedule

LAFAYETTE, La. – Head women's tennis coach Greg Harkins announced the slate for the 2014 fall season on Monday, with five events on the calendar, including a home tournament in early October.
"The team will be working on development this fall," Harkins said. "Our upper classman should be able compete comfortably at these events and our new players will get to test the waters against teams that we will see this Spring. The competition will be solid."
The Ragin' Cajuns will open up the season with a weekend trip to Hattiesburg, Miss., for the Southern Miss Invitational on Sept. 19-21. One week later the squad will head north for the Northwestern State Invitational on Sept. 26-27.
Louisiana will then play host to the University of Louisiana Invitational on Oct. 3-4 at Cajun Courts before the ITA Regionals on Oct. 10-12 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The fall season will then wrap up with the UNO Big Easy Invitational in New Orleans on Oct. 17-18.
