FOR STARTERS
After running through pre-conference play with a perfect 10-0 mark, the Ragin' Cajuns embark on the Sun Belt portion of their slate this week with three matches in five days. Louisiana opens up SBC action at home vs South Alabama, looking to snap a four-match losing streak to Jaguars dating back to 2011. UL then goes on the road against UALR and UT Arlington. The Cajuns will be looking to stay hot against the Trojans, ahving won four of the last five in the series, and will be looking for their first-ever win over the Mavericks.

NEXT WEEK
Louisiana returns home next weekend and will get its first look at league newcomers Appalachian State and Georgia Southern. The Mountaineers received 24 votes in the latest AVCA Top 25 poll, while the Eagles have struggled in non-conference play with an 0-9 record despite being the reigning SoCon champions.

QUICK HITS

- The Ragin' Cajuns are off to a 10-0 start for just the second time in program history. Only UL's 13-0 start in 1990 is better.

- UL is one of only two undefeated teams remaining in the Sun Belt Conference, joined by Appalachian State who is 11-0.

- Andrea Hole, Chanelle Gardner and Sara Mossakowski were named to the all-touranment team at hte Flo Hyman Collegiate Cup. It is the third straight week for Hole to be named MVP of each of the Cajuns' pre-conference tournaments, while Gardner has also been named to the all-tournament team at each of the team's three tournaments played.

- UL is 2-4 in Sun Belt Conference openers under head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot.

- UL recorded three straight sweeps against Sam Houston State, Oral Roberts and Houston. It was only the third time since 2002 that the Ragin' Cajuns have reeled off three straight sweeps.

- Sara Mossakowski hit a carer-high .565 with 14 kills in 3-0 win over Sam Houston State on Friday vs Sam Houston State.

- The Ragin' Cajuns are the only team in the Sun Belt Conference with five players on the roster who are averaging at least 2.00 kills per set.
