Louisiana Baseball To Hold Fan Day On February 8

LAFAYETTE, La. – The defending Sun Belt Champion Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team will hold its annual Fan Day on Feb. 8 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field starting at 10:30 a.m. Admission to Fan Day is free.
                                                                                    
Fans will have the opportunity to get autographs from the current members of the team as well as notable alumni including current pros Jonathan Lucroy, Jace Conrad, Seth Harrison, Caleb Adams, Carson Baranik, Austin Robichaux, Michael Strentz, Ryan Leonards, Chase Compton and Cody Boutte.
 
Autographs will take place from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and will be followed by a home run derby featuring select players on the squad as well as pro players and last year's seniors at noon.
 
The Cajuns will also play an abbreviated intrasqaud starting at 1 p.m. that will include former Cajuns from the professional ranks with last year's senior class.
 
There will be a silent auction during fan day with all proceeds going to the Cajuns Diamond Club to directly support the baseball program.
 
The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a free hot dog and drink courtesy of Sodexo. For more info and updates on Ragin' Cajuns baseball follow the team on twitter @CajunsBaseball.
 
Louisiana opens the 2015 season on Feb. 13-15 at UTSA in San Antonio, Texas. Opening weekend at the "Tigue" is Feb. 20-22 against Stony Brook.
