Broadway, Ringo To Play In Football All-Star Games

Duo led Ragin' Cajuns to fourth straight 9-4 record and bowl victory
LAFAYETTE - Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football teammates Terrance Broadway and Christian Ringo will each take part in a pair of college football postseason bowl games beginning this weekend.
Broadway will play in the Medal of Honor Bowl, which will be played on Saturday at Johnson Hagood Stadium in Charleston, S.C. Ringo, the 2014 LSWA Defensive Player of the Year, will play in the College Gridiron Showcase in Arlington, Texas on Jan. 31.
Broadway started all 13 games for the Ragin' Cajuns completing 190 of 311 passes (61.1 percent) for 2,068 yards and 12 touchdowns. He finished third on the team in rushing with 626 yards and three touchdowns while directing an offense that ranked fifth in the nation in red zone offense (92.5 percent).
In three seasons directing the Ragin' Cajuns offense, Broadway ranked second in school history passing yards (7,329), second in touchdowns (48), third in pass attempts (892) and pass completions (562). He became the school's all-time leader in total offense (9,186), passing former Ragin' Cajuns quarterback Jake Delhomme (8,876).
Ringo anchored a defensive line that boasted the best rushing defense in the Sun Belt Conference while ranking third overall in sacks. He ranked seventh in the nation in tackles-for-loss (TFL) with 20.5 and was 12th in sacks with a school-record 11.5. He recorded 42 tackles (35 solo) and finished tied for the conference lead recovering two fumbles on the season including a 41-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown at Texas State.
