Cajuns No. 20 In Baseball America Recruiting Rankings

DURHAM, N.C. – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team added to its 2015 recruiting class accolades on Tuesday as the Cajuns checked in at no. 20 on the Baseball America 2015 recruiting class rankings, the publication announced.

The ranking marks the first time that Louisiana has been honored by Baseball America in its top 25 recruiting rankings in program history. The Ragin' Cajuns are also the first member of the Sun Belt Conference to ever make the rankings.

Louisiana is the second highest ranked non-power five program on the list behind no. 8 South Florida. The Cajuns welcomed 18 newcomers in the class including 12 freshmen and six junior college transfers.

The Ragin' Cajuns were tabbed 13th earlier this fall in the Collegiate Baseball recruiting rankings. The squad is currently in the midst of fall practice, which wraps up with the Fall World Series on Nov. 12-14 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.
