Cajuns, Bulldogs battle again on the hardwood
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team will venture to north Louisiana for the second time this season as it will face in-state rival Louisiana Tech on Saturday in a noon contest at the Thomas Assembly Center.

The game will be televised live on the American Sports Network and Cox Sports Television. The game can also be heard in the Lafayette area on both KHXT-FM (107.9) and ESPN 1420 AM, and on the Internet at RaginCajuns.com.

Louisiana (3-3) led from wire-to-wire as it defeated McNeese State, 97-64, on Wednesday at the Cajundome. The Ragin' Cajuns forced a season-high 20 turnovers in the 33-point victory – tied for the second largest margin in series history.

Shawn Long (19.8 points, 11.2 rebounds, 2.0 blocks) leads Louisiana's offensive attack that ranks second nationally in scoring at 91.8 points per game. Jay Wright (10.7 points), Kasey Shepherd (10.3), Devonta Walker (9.2), Jay Hedgeman (8.5) and Johnathan Stove (8.2) follow in the scoring column for the Ragin' Cajuns.
