LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team moved up four spots to No. 19 in this week's CollegeInsider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll, released on Monday.
Louisiana (4-1) earned a pair of come-from-behind wins in the San Juan Shootout last week against the University of Arkansas and Sacred Heart. The win over Arkansas gave the Cajuns the first pair of wins over SEC teams in the same season in program history.Â
The Cajuns look to gain an early advantage in the Sun Belt Conference standings when they play their first conference game of 2015-16 this Thursday, Dec. 3 at ULM (4-1). Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m.Â
