LAFAYETTE - Wednesday's scheduled midweek game featuring the No. 7 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns softball team and Northwestern State in Natchitoches has been canceled due to rain.
The Ragin' Cajuns-Demons contest will not be rescheduled.
No. 7 Louisiana (17-3, 2-1 Sun Belt) is next in action on Friday, March 13 at Lamson Park in a 6 p.m., single game that begins a Sun Belt series with UT Arlington. The series with UTA (March 13-14) marks the start of a nine-game homestand which also includes games with Georgia Southern (March 16-17) and Troy (March 21-22).
