Tip Time Set For Cajuns-ORU Game In WBI Semifinals

All tickets to go on sale beginning Wednesday at 10 a.m.
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball game against Oral Roberts in the Women's Basketball Invitational semifinals on Thursday will tip off at 6 p.m. at Earl K. Long Gym, officials announced today.
The game will pit No. 2-seeded Louisiana (21-12) and No. 5-seeded Oral Roberts (18-15) with the winner advancing to the WBI Championship game against Siena or Mercer. A win by Louisiana would guarantee a home game for the Ragin' Cajuns with the championship game scheduled for Sunday at 4 p.m.
Louisiana, making its first-ever appearance in the WBI, earned wins over UT Pan American (78-56) and McNeese State (63-58). Oral Roberts defeated Sun Belt Conference opponent Texas State, 57-54, on March 18 before knocking off top-seeded New Mexico, 63-61, on Monday.

General admission tickets are $10 for adults with the first 500 UL students, with a valid University I.D., admitted free, courtesy of Coca Cola – the official soft drink of the Ragin' Cajuns.
