Sanders and her fellow JWNT teammates opened training camp in preparation for the 2015 international season earlier this week at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex in Oklahoma City.

Following the conclusion of the training camp, members of both the JWNT and WNT will head to Houston where they will hold Youth Clinics in addition to the exhibition games on Monday and Tuesday.

Sanders was named to the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team back in January 2015 after participating in a two-day selection camp in Irvine, Calif.

The JWNT is under the direction of head coach Tairia Flowers (Cal State Northridge) with assistants Trisha Ford (Fresno State), Kristie Fox (UT Arlington) and Tim Walton (Florida) completing the 2015 coaching staff.

Following the exhibition games in Sugar Land, the JWNT will head to Ashland, Ohio, June 18-19 for additional exhibition games before international competition. International play begins with the World Cup of Softball X in Southern California, June 29-July 5, and concludes with the WBSC Junior Women's World Championship, Aug. 9-15, in Oklahoma City.

In her collegiate debut with the Ragin' Cajuns in 2015, Sanders hit .290 with four home runs and 27 RBI while her 49 runs scored were second-most on the team. She made only four errors during the regular season over 125 chances, leading all Sun Belt Conference shortstops in fewest errors committed.
