Women's Basketball to host Assist Club Open Golf Tournament on September 21

LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team will be hosting the Assist Club Open Tournament on Monday, September 21 at the LeTriomphe Golf and Country Club in support of a program that won 23 games last season and claimed the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament crown. Shotgun start for the event is set for noon.
Sponsorship packages start at $100 and are listed in the links to the tournament brochures provided. A $700 entry fee is required for a three-man team and includes green fees, cart rental, range balls, beverages, golf shirt and various door prizes.
Interested parties can register by contacting Ragin' Cajuns Women's Basketball head coach Garry Brodhead through email at gbrodhead@louisiana.edu or by phone at (337) 482-6978. Donations for the fundraiser can be mailed to UL Assist Club, 161 Vincent Road, Lafayette, LA 70508, and must be made payable to UL Assist Club.
The Assist Club Open is a fundraiser for the Assist Club and also donates a portion of the proceeds to a community member in need.
