LAFAYETTE, La. -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns soccer team looks to add to their program-high five-match unbeaten streak with a home and road matchup on tap for this weekend.
The Cajuns return home for the first time since Sept. 6 where they welcome the Lady Tigers of Grambling State (0-2) to town for a 7 p.m. kickoff at the Cajuns Soccer Complex. Louisiana travels to Texas to take on the Houston Cougars (3-4) to close out the week on Sunday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. at Carl Lewis Field.
For Friday's home match against Grambling State, the first 50 kids ages 12 and under will receive a free mini soccer ball courtesy of McDonalds.
The Cajuns completed last week with a 1-0-1 record at the Baylor University Tournament. They went two overtimes against UTSA on Friday before ending in a 2-2 tie and closed out the weekend by topping Northern Illinois 2-1 last Sunday.  Junior forward Annika Schmidt netted both goals in the Cajuns 2-1 win over Northern Illinois, making her the first UL player this season to record multiple scores in one match.

Cajuns Notes
