Kickoff Times Set For Akron, Texas State, ULM Games

Times for NM State, Troy to be announced
LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Department announced on Friday start times for three football games this season at Cajun Field, including the Ragin' Cajuns homecoming game against ULM on Oct. 31.
Louisiana's non-conference game against Akron on Sept. 26 and its Sun Belt Conference opener against Texas State on Oct. 10 will each kickoff at 6 p.m. CDT. The Ragin' Cajuns will face ULM in the 70th annual homecoming game on Oct. 31 with kickoff slated for 4 p.m.
Times for the Ragin' Cajuns final two games of the season – against New Mexico State (Nov. 21) and Troy (Dec. 5) – will be announced at a later date.
Louisiana will kick off its 114th season of intercollegiate football on Saturday when it faces Kentucky in a 6 p.m. CDT contest at the New Commonwealth Stadium in Lexington, Ky. The Ragin' Cajuns will open their home slate at Cajun Field on Sept. 12 in the 15th annual Herbert Heymann Classic against Northwestern State (0-1) at 6 p.m.
