Cajuns Move Up to No. 23 in CollegeInsider Mid-Major Poll

Cajuns (9-2, 2-0 SBC) find themselves in rankings for fifth-straight week

LAFAYETTE -- For the fifth straight week, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns were pegged in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 women's basketball poll, moving up a spot to No. 23 in Tuesday's rankings.
The Cajuns (9-2, 2-0 SBC) garnered 121 points in this week's poll. They are one of two Sun Belt Conference schools (Arkansas State at No. 12) ranked this week. Louisiana picked up a pair of victories at home last week against Alcorn State and Sun Belt Conference opponent Appalachian State.
The Cajuns are 2-0 to start conference play for the first time since 2004-05.
Louisiana begins a four-game road stint this Thursday against Little Rock. Tip-off is set for 5:15 p.m.
