VIP Packet Pickup for USSSA Pride Game Starts Wednesday

LAFAYETTE – VIP packets purchased for Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Softball's exhibition game with the USSSA Pride of the National ProFastpitch (NPF) league will be available for pick up at the Cajundome Box Office starting on Wednesday, Oct. 12.

Fans can pick up their VIP packets at the Cajundome on the following dates:
The Ragin' Cajuns and Pride are scheduled to meet at Lamson Park on Monday, Oct. 17. The contest, scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., will raise awareness for Breast Cancer.

A limited amount of VIP packets, which includes five reserved tickets and a parking pass at Lamson Park, remain on sale and must be purchased by calling the Cajundome Box Office (337-265-2100) or visiting in person.

Individual tickets ($13 reserved grandstand; $8 general admission outfield) go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 12 after 10 a.m. Those tickets will be available through the Cajundome and TicketMaster (800-745-3000 and online).

The USSSA Pride has finished regular season play in first place in the NPF standings in five of the last six years, won three NPF tournament titles (2010, 2013, 2014)Â and played in the championship game the past seven seasons.

Ragin' Cajuns Softball has won three straight Sun Belt Conference championships and 14 overall in the 16 years of league competition since 2001. The program has appeared in the NCAA Tournament 18 consecutive years and 26 times overall in the past 27 years dating back to 1990. Last season, the Ragin' Cajuns hosted an NCAA Regional at Lamson Park for the fourth time in the past five years (2012, 2014-16) and advanced to an NCAA Super Regional for the fifth straight year (2012-16).
