Lafayette – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team faces Xavier (La.) on Thursday at the newly renovated Cajundome.

The game is the first of a five game homestand for the Cajuns. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m. Live video and live statistics are available at RaginCajuns.com with the game being broadcast in the Lafayette area on ESPN 1420 AM and worldwide courtesy of Radio Pup.

Louisiana (2-2), which is coming off a 71-49 loss at Southern Miss on Saturday, is led in scoring by senior guard Jaylyn Gordon (21 ppg). Gordon leads the Sun Belt Conference in both points per game and three-point field goals made per game (3).

Junior forward Simone Fields is second in the league in total rebounds per game (10) and third in scoring (17.5 ppg). Freshman guard Jasmine Thomas is averaging 9.8 points per game while junior guard Jodi Quinn (6.3 ppg) and senior forward Gabby Alexander (4.3 ppg) all have seen significant playing time for the Cajuns.

Xavier (La.) (6-5) is coming off a 75-72 win over Langston on Nov. 25. The Nuggets are members of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference in the NAIA and are coached by Bo Browder, who is in his 18th season as head coach.
