Cajuns Set To Host Louisiana Tech

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's basketball team concludes non-conference play against Louisiana Tech on Thursday at the Cajundome.
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Live video and live statistics are available at RaginCajuns.com with the game being broadcast in the Lafayette area on ESPN 1420-AM and worldwide courtesy of Radio Pup.
Louisiana (5-3), which is coming off an 86-77 win over Southeastern Louisiana on Monday, is led in scoring by senior guard Jaylyn Gordon (19.5 ppg). Gordon leads the Sun Belt Conference in points per game, three-point field goals made per game (2.8), and minutes played per game (39.1).
Junior forward Simone Fields is fifth in the league in scoring (14.9 ppg) while freshman guard Jasmine Thomas is averaging 9.0 points per game. Junior Troi Swain, fresh off a season-high 23 points against SLU, is averaging 7.4 points per game.
Senior Gabby Alexander (6.8 ppg) and junior Jodi Quinn (6.3 ppg) have seen significant playing time for the Cajuns this season.
Louisiana Tech (5-5) is coming off a 56-54 loss at Memphis on Monday. The Lady Techsters are members of Conference USA and are led by co-head coaches Brooke and Scott Stoehr, who are in their first season at Louisiana Tech.
The Lady Techsters are led in scoring by sophomore guard Jasmine LeBlanc (12.6 ppg) and senior guard Rochelle Vasquez (12.2 ppg).
Sophomore Reauna Cleaver is averaging 11.9 points per game while sophomore Kierra Anthony (9.8 ppg) also contributes for Louisiana Tech.
