Ragin' Cajuns Set To Play UTSA on Thursday

LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team continues their home stretch with a 3:30 p.m. first serve at home against the UTSA Roadrunners on Thursday, Feb. 18.
The Cajuns (4-4) look to get back on the winning track after claiming four of their first five matches of the spring season.
Sophomore Kelly Drew leads all Cajuns with six wins (6-2) in singles play, followed by senior Melissa Burckhartt with five (5-2).
All three doubles teams for the Cajuns have winning records entering Thursday's match. Burckhartt and Kelly (4-2), sophomore Abby Johnson and junior Alexandra Way (4-3) and senior Juliette Clement and sophomore Elena Sava (3-1) have all found success this season.
UTSA comes to Lafayette with a three-match losing streak after jumping out to a 3-1 start this season. Lina Hallgren (5-2) and Jacobea Junger (5-1) both have won five matches at singles in 2016.
In doubles, Hallgren and Charlene Tiwari own the team's best record at 5-1. Mariam Rosell Canudas and Junger have paired up for a 5-2 record this season.
