LAFAYETTE, La. – The 16th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team will face a pair of in-state foes in the midweek starting Tuesday at 6 p.m. as the Cajuns host New Orleans at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.

The Ragin' Cajuns (4-3) will head to Lake Charles, La., on Wednesday to take on McNeese State in a 6 p.m. contest at Cowboy Diamond.

Louisiana dropped in the polls this week falling to No. 16 in the Baseball America rankings and to No. 24 in the D1Baseball Poll. The Cajuns snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-2 win over Rice at the Shriners College Classic.

Freshman left-hander Hogan Harris will make his first career start for Louisiana against UNO (6-1). Harris has made two appearances in relief this season allowing just one run in 4.2 innings of work.

Sophomore right-hander Evan Guillory is scheduled to make the start at McNeese on Wednesday. Guillory is 0-1 on the year with a 6.23 ERA.

Offensively, the Ragin' Cajuns are hitting .269 as a team with Brenn Conrad, Kyle Clement and Joe Robbins each hitting over .400 through two weeks. Conrad has a team-best .455 average (10-for-22), while Conrad and Clement pace the team with five RBI.

Louisiana holds an 80-68 edge in the all-time series against New Orleans. The Privateers snapped a nine-game win streak in 2014, but the Ragin' Cajuns rebounded with a 6-3 win last year.

The Cajuns lead the all-time series with McNeese State holding a 91-63 edge. The two teams split a pair of games a year ago with the road team winning each time. The Cowboys won 5-4 in a 17 inning affair at "The Tigue", while Louisiana claimed a 6-5 decision at Cowboy Diamond.

New Orleans is coming off of a sweep of Valparaiso over the weekend. The squad's only setback of the season was at Southern Miss with a 7-4 loss. Left-hander Bryan Warzek will make the start on the bump for the Privateers. Warzek does not have a decision on the year with an 8.10 ERA going 3.1 innings in his only appearance this season. Â

UNO is hitting .345 as a team with 10 doubles, five triples, five home runs and 59 runs. Kyle Bracey leads the Privateers hitting .591 with a double, triple, home run and seven RBI.

Shane Selman paces a McNeese squad that is hitting .284 through seven games. Selman has a .348 average with a home run and three RBI. Connor Crane is second on the team in hitting with a .346 average and a team-best six RBI.
