Men's Tennis Ends Weekend with 4-2 Win at Kennesaw State

KENNESAW, Ga. -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team finished the weekend with a 4-2 win at Kennesaw State on Sunday morning.
The Cajuns improved to 10-8 this spring with the victory.
In doubles, junior WIll Huyton and freshman Arthur Libaud took No. 3 over Lucas de Torres Curth and Alejandra Valencia, 6-2.
Kennesaw State evened doubles at No. 1 as David Durham and Drew Wendel defeated senior Edgar Lopez and junior Eric Perez by a 6-3 final.
Kennesaw took doubles with a 7-6 win at No. 2 as Simon Pritchard and Jorge Wilton eliminated UL junior Coleman Wahlborg and sophomore Vlad Kramoarov, 7-6.
SIngles went five matches. Lucas de Torres Curth beat Huyton, 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 4 spot, but Lopez came back at No. 1 to defeat Pritchard, 6-2, 6-3.
The next three singles matches went to the Cajuns. Perez defeated Wendel, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 at No. 5. Libaud prevailed over Durham, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 at the No. 2 spot.
Kramarov clinched the match over Valencia, 7-5, 7-6 in straight sets at No. 3.
The Cajuns will return to action next Friday, March 18 at UNC Charlotte in Wilmington, North Carolina. First serve is slated for 8 a.m.
