A pregame ceremony honoring professors of Ragin' Cajuns softball team members – and highlighting the team's academic accomplishments – is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. Professors are invited to stand alongside Ragin' Cajuns softball team members for the national anthem.

"Our professors are the 'rock' of our success as a University and a softball program," Louisiana softball head coach Michael Lotief stated. "They are selfless in their commitment to make sure our students have the best opportunities to develop their potential.

"Our professors establish relationships and invest in our students day-by-day – whether it is in the classroom, official visits to campus or in advising to help our students pursue their dreams," Lotief added. "We are so blessed and fortunate to have such devoted and compassionate professionals on our team."

Due to a Ragin' Cajuns men's and women's basketball doubleheader at the Cajundome, additional parking for Wednesday's game will be made available at Blackham Coliseum.
