Men's Tennis Faces UNC Charlotte Friday in Wilmington

LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team is back in action this Friday, March 18 against UNC Charlotte on the campus of UNC Wilmington. First serve is set for 8 a.m.

The Cajuns (10-8) will continue their weekend slate against Yale on Saturday, March 19 at 8 a.m. and end with a 10 a.m. first serve with No. 65 UNC Wilmington on Sunday, March 20.

Louisiana last played this past Sunday, March 13 at Kennesaw State, coming away with a 4-2 victory. Sophomore Vlad Kramarov clinched the victory with a 7-5, 7-6 win in No. 3 singles.

Freshman Arthur Libaud comes into this weekend's matches with a team-best 9-4 record in singles play and has won his last four matches.

In doubles, senior Edgar Lopez and junior Eric Perez own a team-high 10 wins and carry a three-match win streak with them into this weekend. The duo is 7-3 in their past 10 matchups. Junior Coleman Wahlborg and senior Jake Wynan have combined to win their last three doubles matches.

UNC Charlotte comes into Friday's action having won five of their past six matches overall. They are 6-2 this spring. Vikram Hundal has a team-high nine wins in singles this season, while he and Jordi Massalle Ferrer are 13-5 in doubles play.
