Women's Tennis Returns to Action at Nicholls State

LAFAYETTE -- The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's tennis team (8-6) resume play this Saturday, March 19 for a 10 a.m. first serve at Nicholls State.
The Cajuns have won three of their past four matches.
Senior Melissa Burckhartt comes into Saturday's match with the team's best singles record at 7-3. She has won five of her past eight singles matchups overall.
Sophomore Kelly Drew has a 7-6 record at singles this season, while junior Alexandra Way is 6-3 in singles.
In doubles, senior Juliette Clement and sophomore Elena Sava are 7-3 as a duo and have won their past two matches. Way and sophomore Abby Johnson come in with a 7-5 doubles record and are winners of their past two matches.
Nicholls State comes in with a 3-11 record this spring and looking to snap a seven-match losing streak.
