Basketball Banquet Scheduled For April 6

LAFAYETTE – Head coach Bob Marlin and his coaching staff will honor the 2015-16 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball team when it holds its annual Basketball Banquet on April 6 at City Club River Ranch.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner scheduled for 6.

Tickets are available for $325 for a table for six, and will include two seats for members of the Ragin' Cajuns squad, or individually for $40. Fans can download a ticket form on the men's basketball page at www.RaginCajuns.com.

To register, fans can return the form with payment to the Men's Basketball Office no later than March 31, 2016. Tickets can be picked up at the Men's Basketball Office, located in the Cajundome, or at the door. Please make checks payable to: UL Foundation/Basketball Banquet and mail to: Ragin' Cajuns Basketball, 444 Cajundome Blvd., Lafayette, LA 70506-4264.

The Ragin' Cajuns finished the 2015-16 season with a 19-15 record, that included a semifinal appearance in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and a quarterfinal berth in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament.

Individually, Shawn Long concluded his playing career at UL as the all-time leading rebounder in both school and Sun Belt Conference history. He was selected as the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year and was an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-America recipient.
