NEW ORLEANS, La. – The 16th-ranked Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team is set to open a 5-game road trip as the Cajuns face No. 27 Tulane on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium.
 
The game can be seen live on Cox Sports Television (Cox channel 37 or LUS channel 35). Tim Grubbs will make the call with Ronnie Rantz adding color and Lainie Fritz on the sideline.
 
Fans can also catch the contest live on ESPN 1420-AM as Jay Walker will provide play-by-play with Jeff Schneider adding color. Live stats are available on RaginCajuns.com.
 
Louisiana (8-4) is coming off of a sweep of Sacred Heart over the weekend. The Ragin' Cajuns posted two shutouts and had double-digit hits twice in the series.
 
Sophomore Evan Guillory (0-2) will make the start for the Cajuns. Guillory has a 3.86 ERA posting seven strikeouts in 9.1 innings of work.
 
Offensively, Louisiana is hitting .286 with 20 doubles, five triples and eight home runs. Joe Robbins paces the squad hitting .444 with a team-best three triples, three home runs and nine RBI.
 
The Cajuns hold a 45-42 all-time edge in the series with Tulane having won the last two meetings between the clubs. Louisiana routed the Green Wave 16-0 in the last meeting on April 1, 2014 at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field.
 
Tulane is also coming off of a series sweep over the weekend taking a three-game set from Pepperdine. The Green Wave shutout the Waves 11-0 and 15-0 to open the weekend, before getting a 4-3 walk-off winner in the series finale.
 
Left-hander Ross Massey will make the start on the mound for Tulane. Massey is 1-1 on the season with a 1.64 ERA in four appearances including one start.
 
The Green Wave are hitting .305 as a team with 25 doubles, four triples and nine home runs. Tulane is averaging 6.7 runs per game with 68 RBI on the year.
 
Stephen Alemais has a team-best .462 average with five doubles and 11 RBI. Jake Willsey leads the Green Wave with four home runs.
 
Following the Tulane contest, the Cajuns head to Troy, Ala. for a three-game series against Troy at Riddle-Pace Field starting Friday at 6 p.m.
