Leleux Matches School Record at Texas Relays

Cajuns head to Baton Rouge on Friday for Tiger Track Classic
AUSTIN, Texas – Morgann Leleux matched her school-record in the women's pole vault as she finished fourth overall and led the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns track and field team on the final day of the 89th NIKE Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays on Saturday at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Leleux, who set the school record at last week's Louisiana Classics, cleared the bar at 14 feet, 1 ¼ inch on her first attempt. Auburn's Jessie Johnson claimed the individual championship after posting a mark of 14-5 ¼, with Alysha Newman (14-1 ¼) of Miami, Annie Rhodes (14-1 ¼) of Baylor and Leleux following.
Louisiana will return to action on Friday, April 8 when it travels to Baton Rouge to compete in the Tiger Track Classic at LSU's Bernie Moore Track Stadium.
