Ragin' Cajuns to Hold Soccer Day Camps

LAFAYETTE – The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns women's soccer team will host day camps open to boys and girls, ages 5-12, from June 6-10 and July 11-15 at the Ragin' Cajuns Soccer/Track Complex.

Camp times are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the June 6-9 and July 11-14 dates and from 9 a.m. to noon on the June 10 and July 15 dates.

The camp includes a trip to Bourgeois Poll each day before the afternoon session. Lunch will not be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a water bottle, soccer ball, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, cleats, tennis shoes, extra change of shorts, shirt, socks, shin guards and lunch.

Cost of the camp is $150 for participants who are pre-registered by May 9, and $160 for participants who are registered after May 9. A $25 discount will be give to families registering two or more children.

Camp instructors will consist of Ragin' Cajun coaching staff members, players and other college and university coaches and players.

Camp participants are covered by a supplemental accident insurance policy. The policy will allow benefits for expenses not covered by other valid or collectable health insurance coverage.
