ULM Series Opener Suspended To Friday At 4 pm

LAFAYETTE, La. – Due to inclement weather in the Lafayette area, the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team saw its series opener with ULM on Thursday night at M.L. "Tigue" Moore Field suspended to Friday at 4 p.m.

The two teams will resume the game in the top of the fifth with runners on first and second and two outs as the Cajuns (34-19, 18-9 Sun Belt) trail 1-0.

The Warhawks (20-32, 10-17 Sun Belt) went in front 1-0 in the top of the third when Nathan Reynolds scored on an error by Joe Robbins at third base with two outs.

Fans will not need to ticket to attend the resumed game at 4 p.m., but the stands will be cleared prior to game two and only tickets for Friday's contest will be accepted.

ESPN 1420-AM will broadcast the resumed game with Jay Walker making the call. The broadcast will then shift to News Talk 96.5 KPEL-FM for the second game.

Additionally, the second game will be broadcast on myAcadianaTV and simulcast on ESPN3.com with Dan McDonald and David Schultz calling the action. Live stats and video are available on RaginCajuns.com.
