McGuire, Peters To Represent Cajuns At SBC Media Day

NEW ORLEANS – Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football players Elijah McGuire and Otha Peters will be among 22 student-athletes participating in Sun Belt Conference Football Media Day next Monday (July 25) in New Orleans. Sun Belt Conference Media Day Central launched today and features the full schedule of Monday's event with links to live coverage on the Sun Belt Digital Network and ESPN3.

All 11 head coaches, plus future member Coastal Carolina's head coach Joe Moglia, will join 22 student-athletes to represent their programs at media day. Two student-athletes will represent each school with one, South Alabama junior Roman Buchanan, making his second appearance. All others will be first-time attendees at media day.

ESPN3 will broadcast live from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome from 1-3 p.m. CT at media day and will sit down with all head coaches in addition to Sun Belt Conference commissioner Karl Benson.

The Sun Belt Digital Network live coverage of media day will be available for free on media day central and on SunBeltSports.org. Coverage will begin at 9 a.m. CT with the State of the Sun Belt Conference address with Commissioner Benson. Coverage will continue all day as host Danielle Jenkins visits with coaches and student-athletes from all teams. The broadcast will feature live look-ins on coaches and student-athletes at the podiums throughout the day.

Fans have the opportunity to have their questions asked live to coaches and student-athletes and are encouraged to use the hashtag #FunBelt on social media.
