Sponsorship Opportunities Available For 2016 Cajun Tennis Classic

Finals to be televised on ESPN3, Cox Sports TV
LAFAYETTE - The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns men's tennis team will host seven of the top 35 schools in the country during the 2016 Cajun Tennis Classic, scheduled for Sept. 22-25 at the Culotta Tennis Center.
The eight-team tournament will feature, for the first time since resuming play in 2014, live action of the championships on Sunday (Sept. 25), which will be televised live on Cox Sports Television and ESPN3. Joining Louisiana in the field will be No. 11 Texas Tech, No. 12 USC, No. 13 Oklahoma State, No. 16 Texas, No. 23 Kentucky, No. 27 Ole Miss and No. 35 LSU. The teams will play in a 32-player draw for singles and 16 teams for doubles.
Since the tournament's first year in 1977, the Cajun Tennis Classic has produced 20 future professional Grand Slam winner or finalists, 12 NCAA champions, five ATP top-20 professional singles players, four No. 1-ranked professional doubles players, two American Olympic Gold Medal winners in doubles and 21 ITA future college Hall of Fame players and coaches.

A PowerPoint presentation and breakfast will be given to all interested parties on Tuesday (July 12) at 7 a.m. in the Evangeline Room at City Club.
